Looking Towards Beauty

How to revel in the ordinary!

Dear Lovely Readers,

As adults, we often lose our sense of wonder in the world. It is as if a black cloud is placed above our heads. However, if we stay in tune with the frequency of beauty, we can hold on to hope and miracles.

The other day, we went on a family walk. My husband, son, and I saw a dad with his two little girls. One was lagging, and he called for her to hurry up.

She exclaimed that she had to pick up some flowers. They were pink blooms from an azalea bush.

Excitedly, she offered the flowers to me. I took them and told her that I loved flowers. She lit up brightly and said: Do you see those cherry blossoms? I loved the excitement in her voice, and I shared that those flowers were beautiful. That child saw the wonder of this Earth.

I hope she always slows down for the flowers, no matter what others say!

How often do we rush, not noticing the beauty around us?
